Bulletin brought to you by the Premier Safety
Nationwide Radio and TV Test of the U.S.
Emergency Alert System
On November 9, at 2:00 PM E.T., your state will participate in a Nationwide Test of the U.S. Emergency Alert System. It will be heard on the radio and seen on TV. This test will help determine the reliability and effectiveness of
the system used in notifying the public of emergencies and potential disasters.
This event is a reminder that everyone should have an emergency preparedness kit and plan for themselves, their families, and businesses, as well as being familiar with their role in their healthcare organization’s emergency/disaster plan.
